BACKGROUND:
Mountain View High School (MVHS) Chorus was established in 2009 when the school first opened. MVHS Chorus has a wonderful history of musical excellence and students continue to achieve excellence in their participation of region, district, state, and national choral events. There are five ensembles at MVHS. Our ensembles perform five concerts each school year in the Performing Arts Center (PAC): Fall Concert, Winter Concert, Pre-Large Group Performance Evaluation, MVHS Cluster Concert, and Spring Concert.
Students in MVHS Chorus build on their Academic Knowledge and Skills as part of the high school music education county standards. Students expand on their sight singing abilities and work to develop a beautiful healthy core sound individually and collectively.
